Taylor Sellers graduated from The Process School of Cosmetology, now known as The Keune Academy by 124, just three years ago and hit the ground running with the motto of “go big or go home!” And go big she has. The 23 year old is already a Master Hair Designer at Salon 124 in Duluth, Georgia, and a Keune National Educator, who was just named to the Blend Team. Now, The Colorist magazine has honored Sellers as one of the top “30 Under 30” haircolorists in the country!

“My salon is a partner with Keune, I’m the top Keune producer at the salon and my goal as a stylist is to be what Keune is as a product company, so we are a perfect match,” says Sellers, who also just returned from her honeymoon. You could say it’s been a big year for her!

This second-generation hairdresser grew up around her mom’s salon and knew she wanted to become a hairdresser from an early age. When she graduated cosmetology school and moved to Salon 124, her clients from school followed her. That was only the beginning. Since then, Sellers, who loves coloring, finishing and cutting men’s hair, has made hair her life. To stay grounded in education, she takes classes and watches videos constantly to improve her skills. She’s also become obsessed with numbers.

What’s next for her? “Editorial and bridal work,” Sellers says without skipping a beat. “I’d love to work behind the chair during the week and do bridal hair on the weekends.” With Sellers’ passion and drive, we’re confident we’ll be sharing that success story next!
