Keune celebrates individuality! What may be popular in one area of the U.S. may be different—or the same!—from what’s hot in another state. Here, find out the top trends in fall hair colors, cuts and styles from three Keune educators with homebases in New York, Texas and Arizona:

What’s Hot for Fall Hair:
Cut: “A long bob or medium-length cuts with long, airy layers and a Bardot-style fringe is my favorite look for the season. The length allows plenty of versatility; it’s quick and easy to style for a night out; and there’s enough to pin up or pull back for those windy days.”
Color: “Rose gold for blondes is great new take on a warm blonde. From something natural and soft to intense and bold, this is a great change-of-season color that I love. I’m also digging this multi-color look for brunettes with a soft balayage on the ends, a natural base and various warm tones through out the ends. This gives all levels of brunettes a natural look with plenty of dimension.”
Style: “A low, loose braid with plenty of texture, such as a fishtail, is my go-to for the fall season. With the wind picking up, a braid is a great way to keep hair in place. With the right product and minimal styling effort, a daytime braid can easily transition into a nighttime style.”

What’s Hot for Fall Hair:
Cut: “I’ve been absolutely loving the modern shag my clients are asking for. This cut allows for a truly customized style while looking wonderful on multiple hair types. I’m enjoying creating texture, movement and overall life back into hair that was mainly at one length from last season. Paired with an effortless soft fringe, it’s the perfect marriage for a lived-in look.”
Color: “Everyone is asking for richness and warmth to their hair instead of opting to go ‘darker for fall.’ The clients who typically enjoy cool, blonde tones are gravitating towards soft-peach pastels and brown-blonde shades while brunettes are opting for bronze tones. I’m loving these color choices because there’s an opal-iridescent feel where the hair is seemingly changing when you look at it from different angles. Deep ombre’s are inching closer to the root, where a soft shadow root paired with babylights and brighter pieces around the face are trending.”
Style: “For everyday hair, a conscious effortlessness is the theme this fall. A straighter root to a soft wave from mid-length to the ends is a favorite on long to short hair. In upstyling, it’s giant, undone braids; soft twists with hair falling around the face; and styles that look like they came straight out of a romantic fairytale. In a world that can be so fast paced, these styles make you pause for a moment to enjoy their elegant simplicity and wonder how something so effortless can look so intricate.”

What’s Hot for Fall Hair:
Cut: “Bobs are coming around in many forms, whether shaggy or polished, asymmetrical or a classic shape. I love the bob because it always feel modern and it can give you the diversity and convenience you want from a hairstyle.”
Color: “Soft, cool browns and auburn and mahogany hues. I love these shades on hair. Adding a little violet to your brunettes gives a crisp, sophisticated look.”
Style: “Now that the hot Arizona summer is finally behind us, clients can let their hair down and get a professional blowout. This service books up a lot now that were moving into the holiday season and everyone has a social event to attend. I love giving a blowout; it leaves the hair ultra polished. It’s also a great way to keep your client’s scalp and hair healthy between their cut and color services.”
