Ways we Recycle & Reuse

As a result of the naturally chilly climate of the Netherlands, our high-tech air cooling system uses water to cool production kettles. Recirculating water in the system, it is reused in production. As a result, water consumption is reduced by 25%.

How we Harvest

Through the power of the sun, we currently utilize nearly 4,000 solar panels, covering 66.5K square feet to power our factory and warehouse. Additionally, the LED lighting and the installation of quad-layered glass “daylight lanes” cut down on our energy consumption by 62%! 

Product Standards

At Keune, all of our products must meet rigorous testing standards before they are released to the market. For instance, sourcing the highest quality ingredients, we create and manufacture all formulas in house. Therefore we are able to ensure quality control, which has earned us the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) seal of approval. Signifying that we have met quality standards within our facilities.  More importantly, we never test on animals and are proud to be cruelty-free.  

Green Circle Salons

At our US Advanced Academy, Keune is partnered with Green Circle Salons to create a high standard of sustainability throughout the facility. From recovering and repurposing hair clippings and foils to reducing energy and water usage, we’re committed to creating an impact at every level.
