At the International Salon & Spa Expo in Long Beach, CA, George Alderete (@colorboygeo), Creative Ambassador for Keune North America, took this color correction to Blorange (blonde-orange), the hottest color trend for Spring/Summer.

Color scenario: Lexi has a natural level 5. She deepened her regrowth with a level 3 semi-permanent color and had pre-lightened faded ends. She started to grow out her hair for her wedding, giving her significant regrowth. Keune Haircosmetics North America’s Creative Ambassador George Alderete did a simple creative color correction for a fashionable finish.

Step 1:  Remove semi-permanent dark spots from the mid-shaft with Keune Cream Bleach and 10 Volume plus added Keune Bond Fusion Phase 1 Bond Builder. Process 30 minutes, shampoo, rinse and blow dry. 

Step 2: Apply Keune Tinta Color 7.3 (a medium golden blonde) and 20 Volume to the base only. Then, apply Keune Tinta Color 8.4 (light copper blonde) plus 30 Volume to mid-lengths only. Process 35 minutes. Shampoo with Keune After Color Shampoo. Towel dry.

Step 3: Alternate application throughout pre-lightened ends.

Formula 1: Keune Tinta Color 7.43 (medium copper golden blonde) plus double 10 volume. Formula 2: Keune Tinta Color 9.43 (very light copper golden blonde) plus double 10 Volume. Process 20 minutes. Rinse and shampoo.

Step 4 Top Coat:

Apply Keune Semi Color in Clear plus equal parts of 0/33 Gold mix color plus Red Activator at a  1:2 ration. Process 20 minutes at room temperature. Rinse. Apply Keune Bond Fusion Phase 2 Bond Enhancer from root to ends. Process 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

To Style: 

Apply Keune BLEND Prep Spray and blow dry. 

Spray on Keune BLEND Prep Spray and blow dry. Set with Keune BLEND Fixing Spray for hold and volume. Next, apply Keune BLEND De-Frizz to hands and rake through to break up the set. Brush through with a Mason Pearson until the shape falls into place. Apply Keune BLEND Gloss Spray to remove frizz and leave a glossy shine. Press hair into place with hands. Finish with Keune Design Society Spray to hold.
